GF Hershey Pie
As promised, here’s the gluten-free Hershey Pie recipe.
For as long as I can remember, my mom always made one of these amazingly simple and delectable pies for Thanksgiving. I’ve continued the tradition here in Colorado, and this year made a GF version for an early Turkey Day meal with my boyfriend.
Note: to make it gluten-full, just use regular graham crackers!

Where can a Colorado girl get some GF Bisquick?!
Anyone know where I can get me some GF Bisquick?!
I know, I know…”why don’t you just use another GF pancake mix?!”. Because I grew up eating and loving Bisquick pancakes, especially those made by Dad in Mickey-Mouse shapes with chocolate chips. I have mad comfort food nostalgia when it comes to Bisquick!

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil

High Fiber Fruit/ Veggie Juice aka Cleans-You-Out
I recently saw an acupuncturist and she suggested making a high fiber fruit/ veggie juice that’s good for my blood/ Qi (very Boulder I know). So I promptly bought some beets, carrots, apples, and ginger. This recipe is easy and tastes surprisingly good (read: sweet) given the ingredients. The beets give this juice a wonderfully dark red color (True Blood anyone?). You’ll need a...

Apple Crumble
What’s a girl to do with 4 organic apples that have been hanging out in her fridge for a week?! Eat them individually? No. Make them into a simple n’ tasty dessert? Yes!
I used the crumble recipe I made a month ago and used apples instead of berries. I’d add a little juice or cider next time because it was a tad dry. Topped it with my fav vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
